I have got confusion with the location of farm solution in sharepoint 2010,as we found sandbox solution in site settings=>Galleries=>Solution.
so,can you give clarification in terms of farm solution location.

Farm Solution Location is in SharePoint Central Addmin page -> System Settings -> Manage FARM Solution (Under Farm Management Header).
It sounds to me that you’re not the owner of the SharePoint farm. IF I’m right you wouldn’t get access to the farm solutions.
Anyway, if you go to the Central Administration you can find all deployed farm (and other scoped) solutions.
Well, perhaps, it might be a better solution and the right time to get familial with several books regarding SharePoint administration?
