Hi,
My question is related to creating forms within a SharePoint site. As an example a site member can add a document using a form created in InfoPath that gets saved back to the shared document workspace within the site. I have heard that there are other ways to create forms such as using the designer to create ASP.net forms. Is there other ways of creating forms within a SharePoint site? If you need anymore explanation of what I am trying to do please feel free to respond in this post or send me a message.
Thank you!
Hi Charles,
It depends on your needs. There are 3rd party products like Nintex and Pistachio (not free) that create forms. There are also ways to edit the default form in SharePoint to a certain extent (http://www.markrackley.net/2013/08/29/easy-custom-layouts-for-default-sharepoint-forms/). I think there are also some projects using HTML5 on CodePlex. If you have SharePoint 2013, there was something about being able to use Access Services for forms also but I do not know much about that.
Hope this helps.
Matthew
