I am new to Sharepoint, new to SQL, never created a site of any kind before – so very much hoping someone can advise me on the list of elements/tasks required.
The server is 2008 R2 with standalone Sharepoint Foundation 2010/SQL 2008 Express installed. As the server is in a DMZ there is no domain/AD, just local Windows accounts. I will be the only person who needs access internally as everyone else will be accessing externally.
From what I have read it seems SQL authentication would be appropriate but I can’t find a list of the steps needed for this to be achieved and would therefore be extremely grateful for advice in this regard.
