We are about to reach 2,700 members and the activity is certainly on the increase. I can see that many more members are making friends with each other and many more are getting involved in the on-line chat, discussions and now also starting to blog.
We also have a fantastic army of SharePoint Community Reps that are helping manage the site on a daily basis. (Can’t thank them enough!)
We also have some really cool things to announce over the next few weeks as well as an amazing prize to win this week.
However, I am sure more can be done! This is your chance to tell us what else you would like to see on here ? What more can we do ? Do you want to contribute in some way ?
Update : We are now at 2700 members and I was wondering if you had any further ideas ?
Thanks for the thumbs up! you are right, it has been really hard but I think we are getting there. the main Chat window is really active now and we always guessed it would be the killer feature.
I know how hard it is to make a community forum like this work, and I want to give Mark and Vlad kudos for the outstanding job both of you are doing in making this site a valuable resource in the SharePoint community. Reaching 2000+ members in such a short amount of time says a lot about, not only your hard work, but also the spirit of sharing and the willingness to help others that is common in the SP community.
Suggestions? Keep doing what you’re doing. Soon there will come a tipping point where there are enough active members that the site will take on a life all its own. And I am sure that will happen sooner rather than later.
Thanks Mark,
One additional thing I noticed in writing my blog. There is a “Save Draft” originally –but after you’ve saved and come back. There is no option to save again. The only thing I saw was publish.
Since my direct feed of LiveWriter is not functioning it may take several shots to get it right.
Just put it on your big list.
Thanks again.
Stephan
cool! I will try it out myself when i get 5.Â
Support ticket was raised about live writer.
Mark,
I hadn’t fully tried it before I ask the question. I have now tried it. There is a “Save as Draft” Button.Â
However, I did find one glitche in the program. I had been able to add pictures from my computer. Then I mistakenly chose the “Media” button. After that I could only choose pictures from the internet. Â I can work around it –but it’s a bug.
thanks,
Stephan
