We are about to reach 2,700 members and the activity is certainly on the increase. I can see that many more members are making friends with each other and many more are getting involved in the on-line chat, discussions and now also starting to blog.
We also have a fantastic army of SharePoint Community Reps that are helping manage the site on a daily basis. (Can’t thank them enough!)
We also have some really cool things to announce over the next few weeks as well as an amazing prize to win this week.
However, I am sure more can be done! This is your chance to tell us what else you would like to see on here ? What more can we do ? Do you want to contribute in some way ?
Update : We are now at 2700 members and I was wondering if you had any further ideas ?
Mark,
I love the way you guys have made this thing come alive!
There is one thing that I think would help other contribute more. As you are aware I tried to upload a blog using LiveWriter today and it ended up being garbage. Â I’m not sure how soon that can be addressed.
If that can’t be addressed quickly, it would be nice if there would be some kind of interim way of saving a blog in draft form on this site before publishing it.
I’ve tried copying and pasting from Word but my graphics don’t make it. Â I don’t mind doing a little copy and paste if I can save what I’m working on and come back to it later. Â I might not be able to do all of this in one session.
Just a though. Â Like I said I’m a fan and I’ll get blog there one way or the other.

Hi Dave
We have been doing similar. (Well one so far). We called them SPChats as they take place in the chat window. Next one is with Bill Ayers who is an MCSM. He’s going to take questions around the MCSM programme. http://sharepoint-community.net/events/spchat-learn-about-the-microsoft-certified-solutions-master-shareÂ
The last one was with Matthias Einig on SPSD :Â http://sharepoint-community.net/profiles/blogs/spchat-transcript-an-overview-of-sharepoint-solution-designer-sps
I’m happy to help out in any way I can.
I think the key is as much contribution as questions.
Also maybe a weekly event like they have on twitter like #spjam where we all discuss a single subject for 30 mins
