In my Office 365 environment I have a document library where I want users to explicitly check “Add as new version to existing files” option, while uploading a new file to the library. By default this option is always checked.
I can see a scenario when user would not pay attention, and overwrites existing file. Versioning will help to restore the old file, but it could take some time before users realize that file was overwritten.
