Just interested to see how long you have been using SharePoint and which version did you start on ?
I started in 2008 on SharePoint 2007 with a Web Content Management Project and have been busy with SharePoint since then. I initially started with MS Content Management Server about 2004, so the move to SharePoint was natural.
I still find that the difference between publishing sites and team sites a bit artificial, and a pity that they never put the time into integrating them.
I first played with it before it was a product. The web part capability came from a project called Digital Dashboard that MCS built for a client in Southern California.  I’ve been developing with it since Team Services around 1999.
since 2001 only had a pause with 2003 then went onwards with 2007 and up till now.
Since it was referred to as the ‘Digital Dashboard’.
