Been speaking to a few people in other org’s recently (we’re just rolling out Office 365) and they feel SharePoint isn’t as popular as it used to be. Is this something that you are seeing as well?
Currently, SharePoint is used by 80%of Fortune 100 companies and is a key system for 70% of knowledge workers. Additionally, research from the Radicati Group indicates that SharePoint will continue to be adopted across all industry verticals and is projected to grow at an annual growth rate of 20% between 2015 and 2019. Stats show that in the last five years, 75% of all intranets implemented were built on SharePoint.
So yes, SharePoint is the market leader and still popular in 2016…if not more!
