how to get the admin rights with in office 365 specific to SharePoint Admin console for creating/managing SharePoint services

Hi All,

I have the below service subscriptions in Office 365 and i am able to login in portal.office.com url. but i am not able to access SharePoint admin console to manage the SharePoint specific services.

Please give me some pointers on what kind of role my account should have to access the SharePoint admin console. Already i am having a service administrator.

I don’t disagree with you, but that is currently the way the roles are set up. If you want to be able to use the SharePoint Tenant Administration, you must be a Global Administrator in O365.

Thanks for the info. But is it really meaningful to have this kind of setup ?? because a SharePoint Admin may not be an AD/exchange/yammer/lynch admin.

Please share your thoughts.i felt its kind of meaningless..
