After I have composed and posted a query rule, I may need to review and edit it (e.g.add another search term etc)
What is the best way to get at the rule..

At the bottom you’ll see two links that show you how to manage your query rules. This can be done in Site Collection Administration Settings, under a node called “Search Query Rules”
