Farm has two web applications
First web application is up and running
Second web application initially it was showing HTTP 500 internal server error
@Pankaj Srivastava suggested to check Event viewer for error details
Resolution: The file system cache on all FE’s on which the timer service is running needs to be cleared.
I followed the blog and no more the HTTP 500 error is recorded in event viewer
Unfortunately – I’m still unable to access web application, this time IE is simple blank white screen.
Kindly request you guys to help me out on this.

P.S: Web application pool stop and start is also cross checked – still no luck.
Did u check SecurityTokenServiceApplicationPool in IIS manager.  SecurityTokenServiceApplicationPool>Advanced setting>Identity and set your credential again. update credential there and reset IIS. it must should work.
