Incoming email enabled document library is uploading two instances in SharePoint 2010

I have an incoming email enabled document library and whenever user is sending an attachment it gets uploaded twice.
Any help to resolve this highly appreciated.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the reply…the same feature works for rest site collections apart from one.
Moreover it is working for a different document libraries in same site collection.

Do you have multiple servers that have the SMPT feature enabled and configured? Is Exchange setup to relay messages to two different IP addresses (2 different SharePoint servers that have the SMPT enabled)? You may want to check this. Also, you can check your ULS logs to see what is there.

I also forgot to ask how do you have your Incoming Email Settings configured in CA?
