Hi All
I’m curious as to whether anyone has any experience with setting up an interactive floor plan / map within SharePoint? I’ve got a few guys from the Facilities Management team a a client’s asking if it’s possible.
Whilst I’m sure that it IS, I’d like to garner some opinion on the best way to achieve this?
Any pointers appreciated.
Cheers,
Steven
The article below describes how to configure floor plan in SharePoint with the help of Plumsail Dashboard Designer:

Hi Steven,
Floor Plan Mapper integrates nicely with SharePoint. Although the integration does not utilize a SharePoint API, the end result is still quite seamless, thanks to webparts. See a blog post outlining the integration here. Floor Plan Mapper also supports hotlinking. That is, you can link to a persons location on a floor plan from the employee directory.
Cheers!

An an addendum (and it’s a major one) I’m using SP2007 so Visio Services is out.
