My biggest request when planning for a new Intranet is personalization to the employee.
This can be a struggle with some of the limitations of SharePoint. How do you enable your organization to personalize the intranet at an user level?
Some ideas i have are:
- My Apps (custom javascript to let users create shortcuts to their most used apps)
- My Recent Docs (content search web part)
- My Follow Docs (javascript along side followed docs feature of SP and onedrive)
- My Tasks (Outlook Tasks Web Part)
