Hi,
I would like to design a custom landing page for a Intranet portal. I am not sure what would be the best way to achieve this. I mean how would you accomplish this task following the best practices, I want to develop this solution as a single feature including all files and a custom landing page etc..
I would develop it by creating a custom publishing layout page with code behind, define two webpart zones in aspx, and then add content editor webpart for each image and control (except for video going to add media webpart) in code behind file, create another module to deploy files for hero slider etc. putting both modules within a same feature.
There will be some more images after video which I couldn’t add to this wire frame.
