So, is the enterprise ready for social? Is SharePoint?
Loaded question… I think it really varies by organization and the needs of that organization. If the organization has the need & wants to put the effort behind embracing social, then the enterprise is ready and the tools are there.
In general, from my point of view, most enterprise organizations are just on the verge of being ready. They are teetering on the line of accepting and embracing social as something that IS business related. Thought leaders are moving forward while other enterprises are focused elsewhere and slower to adopt.
