I agree with Tony’s first point. It really comes down to what the organization is looking for. In some companies it may be useful to see what the most recent corporate tweet says. For others, it may just be a distraction. Certainly, it seems like something that will be useful to the marketing department. Either way, it will be interesting to see how social media evolves in the next couple years as it becomes more and more a necessity for good marketing.
