Hi,
I’m new on SharePoint and I’m having the following problem on Windows Server 2012.
I’ve installed SP Server 2013 and then SP Foundation Server 2013, but something broke may farms solutions. Then I’ve uninstalled SP Foundation 2013, and also the SP Server 2013.
When I’ve tried again to re-install the SharePoint Server 2013 I’ve got the following error, at the end of SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard:
“Failed to create the configuration database.
An exception of type Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.SPUpgradeException was thrown. Additional exception information: Failed to call GetTypes on assembly Microsoft office.TranslationServices……
Method not found: Microsoft.Office.Web.Common.ProcessImageInfo
Microsoft.Office.Web.Common.EnvironmentAdapters.IImagingAdapter.processImage(System.Io.Stream,Double,Double)
Any ideas how to handle this error?
Thanks,
Lucia Crisan
Yes, I did removed all the configuration databases before I’ve created a new one. I was wondering whether I could clear something in registry that remains after uninstall, before trying on a fresh VM.
Thanks.
Hey,
Did you delete all the config databases before creating new ones? Â Also.. uninstall SharePoint isn’t always the easiest path… can’t you start from a fresh VM?
