I have 2010 environment where i have one site collection which is shut down every day night 12 A.M and up by morning 9 A.M automatically…could you please provide few root causes..
I thought it could be an issue with particular app pool which is mapped to the web application.
I tried to amend new app pool and it was working for a week and again i encountered the same issue..
I didn’t find any log info w.r.t this…please provide few thoughts or solution to trouble shoot the issue..
The other site collections are working fine..Is it could be an issue with memory or any other parameters..
please suggest…
Can you please provide the ref URL for warmup scripts.. i will try to apply the same..
Do you have the app Pool set to recycle at midnight? Or… do you have any code that hits your Web App (maybe a warmup script, load test?) that could be killing your app pool and forcing it to shut down?
Why don’t you write a warmup script to keep it alive before people get into the Office?
yes it’s a web application — I tried to set up a new app pool and it worked for 10 days and again the system started to shut down the app automatically…
Other web applications are working fine…
