I have 2010 environment where i have one site collection which is shut down every day night 12 A.M and up by morning 9 A.M automatically…could you please provide few root causes..
I thought it could be an issue with particular app pool which is mapped to the web application.
I tried to amend new app pool and it was working for a week and again i encountered the same issue..
I didn’t find any log info w.r.t this…please provide few thoughts or solution to trouble shoot the issue..
The other site collections are working fine..Is it could be an issue with memory or any other parameters..
please suggest…

You mean a web application shuts down right and not only a site collection?
I would check event viewer and logs. Also, I would wake up during the night to find it stopped and see why is it down? Maybe IIS is down (the service) maybe only the app pool. Also what error do you get when yo go on it, is it a 503?
