Folks .. anyone know of migration tools to support migration from Jive to SharePoint? Documents, discussions, etc. Metalogix? AvePoint? Metavis? Need to build a connector?

You could use the api to pull content from Jive. I wonder where you would put it all, though. Like Tobias mentioned, there isn’t a 1:1 match. Maybe that is one reason why there aren’t existing solutions.

Try Kapow software http://www.kapowsoftware.com/ could automate a migration from Jive to SharePoint.
