We have a web application that uses forms based authentication to allow customers from outside the organization to access site collections. Active Directory costumers also use the web application.
We have an immediate need to store large video files, over 100mb, into one of the site collection. With the roll out of SP2013 we plan to implement BLOB storage. This however, does not solve the issue now. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

We have an as soon as possible need to store large video files in a site collection that used forms authentication as well as active directory. We are currently using SharePoint 2010 SP1 with June 2012 CU.
BLOB storage I’m sure is the best answer, and we are planning to go there with our 2013 upgrade. The customer base for this particular site collection is small. I’ve been thinking about linking them up with a SkyDrive. This would create extra administration, but like I said the customer base is small.
So you need a solution today in an existing implementation of SharePoint (what version and edition) for handling video files? Unsure what your need is.
