The below screenshot is from Visual Studio Gallery official download link.

Is there any official/unofficial details about the “SOME” controls that do not work? Any more details on limitations of Sandboxed Visual Webpart would be helpful.

Your link is a general details for all the restrictions of Sandbox Solution.

My question was specific to limitations of Visual WebPart (Sandboxed) item. We get this as part of Visual Studio 2010 SharePoint Power Tools.

I wanted to understand the difference between Visual WebPart item and Visual WebPart (Sandboxed) item?
