Limited Experience with SharePoint 2010; Where do I start?

I recently have been employed as a SharePoint Admin, I have limited experience and am reaching out for some help to acclamate myself to the program. My training has consisted of Google.

In the next coming weeks we are going to be migrating several sites, and I want to shine. I am a quick study, so any recommendations, or even better a walk through would greatly be appreciated!

If you like video training I can recommend Pluralsight.

I would recommend Microsoft virtual academy or channel 9. free but have plenty of help full resources.

Hi Shannon this question comes up tons on here, so I wrote an article called ‘How to learn SharePoint‘ that outlines all the ways I could think of, with plenty of links to various resources.

Also, it’s worth noting that we are organizing SP24, which is a free, on-line conference that is featuring some amazing speakers covering every aspect of SharePoint.
