I’m running Hyper-V where all my SharePoint environments are running.
Currently running a DC (with AD, ADCS), 2 SP2013 Servers, 1 SQL 2012, 1 Office Web Apps… all Windows Server 2012 VM’s.
Planning on deploying Exchange 2013, a few SP2010 servers and a Windows 2012 sandbox to do some more advanced R&D with Windows Server 2012 and prepare my certifications.
dell m6500, i7 proc, 32gb ram, win8
hyper v – 15 vm’s including ad, exchange, tmg. sql
sp2013 vm runs on usb3 with 9gb ram…works fine if a little slow.
Plan to move over to SSD soon
