We’d like to do some social bookmarking: saving links to webpages, tagging them and storing them on a shared list. We have considered using Yammer, Team Sites and OneNote but for now I’d like to explore a custom list on a Team Site, mostly because the tagging vocabular can be both controlled and crated by end users and because a list is sortable, filterable and groupable.
However, I’d like to offer our end users some sort of web clipper like the ones available for EverNote, OneNote and other tools for managing and sharing lists of links.
This clipper, with one click, would launch the “add new” dailogue box and populate the URL field. The end user could then add a description and the tags.
Does anyone know how this can be done, without code?

Are all of the links going to be similar? You could probably do this with either a calculated column or a workflow.
