I am currently working on a project where I have a picture library of icons and a list that uses those icons.

Ideally I’d like to upload it from List Templates and figure out how to populate them. I’ve seen some example example of List Creation with Text Data–but I need to extend beyond text.  This might give me more ability to massage some of the list data for site urls and other stuff.

I’ve also seen an excellent example of creating a picture library through the List Template by technostropic.com by simon SharePoint Picture Library Creation and Deployment — but alas it’s an empty library.

If I can’t get there from here, I’m also playing with a feature receiver to upload two populated List Templates in SharePoint 2013–but more example of this would help.
