Hi all.
I have two workflows. New Request and Task Complete. When running the New Hire workflow, I need to reference the task ID from the Task Complete workflow which runs once the New Request has been marked “Approved”. When I look at the Task Complete field “ID”, it a different number, presumabely because I am in a different workflow. So once “Approved” a number of tasks are assigned, each with a different Task ID that I need to reference. Unfortunately I cannot see that variable within the New Hire WF. Is there a way to get a variable from one workflow to another? Ultimately I’m looking for a way to create a link that brings the user into “Edit Item” of a workflow task so they will not need to click on “Edit Item” of an assigned task.
Any thoughts?
