That’s about what our experience has been. Getting data out of Notes and into SharePoint hasn’t been too bad, and event-driven code, security and views are pretty comparable. The biggest kicker for us has been duplicating things like hide-whens on fields and anything involving scheduled agents. For me, Powershell and JQuery have been godsends in addressing some of the migration issues, but we weren’t allowed to use InfoPath or SharePoint workflows, so hopefully you won’t find agents quite as hard to deal with as I did.
