Can anyone please tell me what happens to documents that are currently a Minor Version in a document library after you switch the settings to just Major Versioning? I want to make sure that anything that is currently a Minor Version does not get lost once I make the switch.

Hi Chad,
Based on what I’ve see, nothing is getting lost. You will have to check out all files with minor version and back check in and let say version 0.5(5 minor versions will become 1.0). You still have ability to check version history for old 5 minor versions and the current version.
Better double check this behavior in your DEV or TEST environment and make sure it fits you requirements.
