I have users who like the easy navigation with the metadata navigation in SharePoint libraries. This is especially good for those with subsites. Users want to have shortcuts to be more efficient.
Now it seems like this shortcut is ost with the new UI. Look at the picture on the right side.
I like the new document experience but want to assist users with good shortcuts. Anyone who knows how to do the same in the new UI. And please let me do it without coding.
Another feature that is lost is the top navigation with drop-down menus. Anyone who knows how to solve this in the new UI?Â

– You need to do the fly outs on the top global navigation. there are few ways to do it. The easiest way is to change the settings in master page. This are the links you can follow:
