I have users who like the easy navigation with the metadata navigation in SharePoint libraries. This is especially good for those with subsites. Users want to have shortcuts to be more efficient.
Now it seems like this shortcut is ost with the new UI. Look at the picture on the right side.
I like the new document experience but want to assist users with good shortcuts. Anyone who knows how to do the same in the new UI. And please let me do it without coding.
Another feature that is lost is the top navigation with drop-down menus. Anyone who knows how to solve this in the new UI?Â
Best regards,

I am able to setup global navigation and it worked until Microsoft applied the new document UI for SharePoint Online.
My customers are using Metadata navigation on document libraries to drill down in subsites, document libraries and folders like they are able to do with file explorer. I am trying to get them to stop using file explorer and use the UI instead. This option is what the picture above is showing.
The feature is activated in library settings and worked until Microsoft launched the new document UI.
