I have users who like the easy navigation with the metadata navigation in SharePoint libraries. This is especially good for those with subsites. Users want to have shortcuts to be more efficient.
Now it seems like this shortcut is ost with the new UI. Look at the picture on the right side.
I like the new document experience but want to assist users with good shortcuts. Anyone who knows how to do the same in the new UI. And please let me do it without coding.
Another feature that is lost is the top navigation with drop-down menus. Anyone who knows how to solve this in the new UI?Â

To make navigation easy in SharePoint I created FlyView for SharePoint, a free chrome extension that creates a flyout site menu at the top of the sharepoint page you are visiting and doesn’t require any coding, the new look also affected FlyView but the good news is it has been fixed and I am releasing the update in the next few days (will automatically update the current chrome users so you can download now).
