Just noticed that Microsoft have taken a massive 30% off the standard price of a Surface.
Here’s what CRN say “Microsoft (NSDQ:MSFT) chopped the price of its Surface RT tablets 30 percent Sunday, bringing the entry-level, 32-GB model to $350. The price drop was spotted at reseller sites such as Best Buy(NYSE:BBY), Staples and Microsoft’s own site over the weekend. Microsoft also dropped the price of its 64-GB Surface RT from $600 to $500 (a 25 percent price reduction).“
Is this going to make you buy one ?
I love my Pro ($399 at WPC!) but I think the RT would be pretty limited by the apps. I try to install apps first, programs second and I find myself installing a lot of programs.
I paid $499 for mine, plus $120 for the type cover a few months ago, and it has been worth every penny!
I think you’re right Bryce, I’m sure they’re making room for the next release.
Not tempted… I’m with Vlad for $99 maybe, but $350 is still more than I am willing to fork out
