What are the key performance metrics for monitoring Microsoft SharePoint performance?I think the following are the key metrics in measuring SharePoint performance.
- Response time per SharePoint site
- Throughput per SharePoint site
- Users
Are there more metrics for Share Point that we can measure to optimize and improve the performance of Share Point sites configured ?Â

At a Cost (alert feature; dont think the cost is worth it) – http://www.metalogix.com/Products/Diagnostic-Manager.aspx I just finished up a trial using this tool and its great. But the price wasn’t too attractive. They license per server in your farm. You can get all of the features this tool offers for free with a little work, except the alerting.
