I am working on Moss 2007 site migration to Sp 2013 site.. both are publishing site. I have create VMs and using thrid party tool Share Gate, I wanted to know any one has done migration using third party tool succesfully. I wanted to copy the customisation of my clients also in this migration.Â
Hey saw the comment about Sharegate and just wanted to clarify.
Sharegate is not a straight copy and paste at all, yes it can do that as well but it allows you to re-organize and re-map properties along with many other features I don’t want to necessarily start mentioning here.
Sharegate also migrates InfoPath forms as well as custom aspx pages made with SharePoint Designer (Custom Views, Forms or anything really with the DataView Web Part)
However Sharegate does not migrate custom development just like many others I am sure. But as always, it depends what the custom development is.
