Hello,
Starting with the Sharepoint Modern Page back logs, Since Modern Page does not support CEWP or SEWP we cannot modify the page.
i know there is a way to embed the CEWP, if i follow this link https://medium.com/niftit-sharepoint-blog/add-the-script-editor-webpart-back-to-sharepoint-modern-experience-688a7b7208e4
But unfortune i cannot complete the steps, because i am not an admin though my tenant is parent org.
My concern is i can use stylebot extension to make an alignment to the sharepoint page which is well and good but i need to hold those changes for all devices and browsers(i can see changes on my device), where if i login from other system i do not see the changes.
Quick links i want to make sure when i select “From a link” i paste the url f.e https://….Home.aspx but when i save and close it doesn’t appear to be opening in a new tab or window.
Also i tried with SPD 2013 but ended up with nothing. is it possible with SPD ?
Does anyone would help on this would be appreciated.
I’m not fully understanding the question. First and foremost, you could ask your parent company to create a Site Collection App Catalog in the environment. That way, Site Collection Admins in your company can deploy custom solutions, without affecting the tenant. That means, you aren’t using the tenant app catalog.
Secondly, you should be careful about the modifications you make on the Modern Pages. There is a reason the CEWP was removed in Modern, because it completely wreaked havoc in environments. In Modern, we don’t really have control over the pages, so by putting in code that modifies the OOTB styles & designs, the cost of technical debt rises.
As for the quick links, you don’t have much control of this. I suggest, seeing if there is an alternative in the github repo that you can customize and deploy (once the site colleciton app catalog is created)
