My colleague was unaware that you could have more than one plan on a group and created a new plan with a different group for our Agile work. Can I move that plan to our group? The plan that is with our current group is in use.

Between groups I don’t see you could move planner. There might be a workaround if you are in teams. Planner adoption is always a challenge due to such incompleteness.
