Sorry I’ve been so quiet of late… had to get the new Student Catalog online and then took a few days off to celebrate the 4th, family, and life in general.

Now I’m back at it with the 2013 upgrade underway, but needing to make some updates to an existing 2007 workflow in the meantime.

Here’s the scenario:

We process our Purchase Requisitions through an InfoPath form with an SPD 2007 workflow (actually 4 of them).

The task notification workflow sends custom emails to the approver at each of the various stages and contains links to the form and to the workflow task.  I’m trying to figure out how to pass two pieces of information to the approvers from the form.  When I try just configuring a lookup, I end up with a circular argument.

Anybody here with some SPD2007 skills who has a moment to try to help me figure this out?  We won’t have the SP2013 site up and running by the time Purchasing reopens on the 22nd, so I need to find a workaround for the moment.
