I am developing an application that can capture modifications in SharePoint farms, security and sites as well as their settings and permissions in real time.
So I want to ask a few questions:
should I develop this application by using an audit class of Sharepoint only?
can I use the event receiver in my application?
should my application need to have 2 parts an agent deployed in
Sharepoint to capture events and a form application to visualize those events?
any suggestions will be helpful.
