I am using SharePoint on Office 365. The news ticker has an annoying title whereby it says, ‘News Ticker â€[4]‬’. If I edit the Webpart the ‘[4]’ doesn’t show. So I can’t edit it out, how do I get rid if it. For the title all I have is ‘News Ticker’, how do I get rid of the [4] part :

if you are unable to to remove the [4] that means News Ticker is already a title of a webpart on the page.
add this to your URL inthe browser ?contents=1
Check and see if other news tickers are open, if they are… delete them. Then you should be able to go back into your page, edit the webpart and remove the [4]
