Not able to cut paste files from one folder to another folder in SharePoint Library 2010. Library has content approval enabled and user has contribute access. If I remove the content approval from the list, user is able to cut paste from one folder to another in same document library. Is it by design or a bug or something is wrong with the environment.

Thanks for looking into this. This is happening in explorer view only. And I am getting the error while cut paste(contribute access and content approval enabled on the list). Please find attached error screenshot for the same.

I presume you are talking about this happening in Explorer view ? Do you get an error, or does the file just not appear ?
