I want to build an office app and sell it in the App Store. If you know of a product that I can build on like surfacing some functionality of SAP, peoplesoft, sales force, dynamics or anything. Maybe it’s a highly specialized calculator and doesn’t integrate data at all. I’m looking for an idea that 5 people can use right away. I’m tired of building stuff that I think is cool that nobody else wants.
A great Office App, one that delivers controlled content for building presentations, sales proposals, etc.  For example, allowing a user to insert pre canned responses and other snippets directly into word documents. I imagine seeing like a grouped view list, filtering down to the category, and clicking insert. You could then adjust the app to deliver other content, like pictures for slide presentations.   Â
WeatherBug has an API, but it appears to be down at the moment.Â
Emergency responders need a weather app that shows temp, humidity, dew point, wind speed, wind direction, and a couple more things. WeatherBug’s site shows what they need, but we want to keep the users in SharePoint. This app would be used by State, County and Local governments AND HazMat teams.

You can do something like this: Select * from Win32_NTEventLogFile
To get everything from the event viewer
I will. Thank you. Frankly I was hoping for a suggestion like your to come up. I love surfacing data from other systems and if I can effect change on that data then I’m even more excited.
