I have been contacted by a customer with a running SP 2013 Standard with no people search working.
I have seen that it seems like no crawl has been done on User Profiles prior to the first full crawl.
I know the best practice Points out to perform the User Profile crawl prior to the first full crawl, I have tried to find out what to do if this was not performed. I haven´t found any guides on my issue.
Anyone who has some ecperiences to share how to correctly do a workaround.

You can  create new Content Source for USer Profiles -( My Sites ) and run Full crawl on this new content ..!
