Help! We are currently working on a 8mb document on SharePoint online. There are about 5 users editing the document. Each are using the option to edit the document in their computer version of Word, not the online version. When a user saves the document, it is taking incredibly long time to save it – if at all.
This is happening to users at our corporate office but also with a user who is accessing from home, so it’s not an issue with an internet connection from our corporate office.
We are in a pickle so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update –
Could this be versioning settings? We are also getting massive duplicates of change comments in the document after saving. Under “Create a version each time you edit a file in this document library?” we have selected “Create Major Versions.”
