Retrieve value from MySites page

Hi, does anyone know how to assign a value from a MySites page to a variable. I have attached some screen shots as this will make more sense. Basically I want to get the value of ‘Define Your Work Week’ (in this case 62) and assign it to a variable. I am thinking this will be in JavaScript, but still quite new to this. I want to take it from the page and not the current user logged in, as I am going to use the value to display what working days they are working, so if a user is viewing a colleagues MySite they will see their colleagues working days and not their own.
