Hi All,
I am Site Collection Administrator of our company’s Intranet. I have implemented Search Results Web Part for Display of users (Employees) all over the portal. Me and my team, having good amount of rights everywhere, we did not encounter any problem.
But we found that, a normal user from other team, who has regular Read Only rights, is not able to see this display. Wherever we used, Search Results Web Part, it is displaying a message “Sorry, something went wrong”.
Has anyone came across this problem before ? What kind of solution have you implemented ?
Can the solution be implemented without troubling SP Administrator?

This is something which I found .. May be you could guide me in explaining it better? I did try to put people in Members and limit rights for the group, but that did not help
Did you resolve the issue without read only rights? I haven’t had any issues with read only.
Generally I have found CSWP break when not proper access to the Master Page Library.
Sometimes this could work. I would go to the Master Pages library and check and see what permissions exist. It is possible, the permissions aren’t correct there.
