Wondering what others are using as far as packaged solutions or JS/JQuery methods for effectively managing files via search. My experience with OOB search functionality is that it’s great for finding a single file, but when users want to take action on a set of search results (like bulk exporting to a zip) or want more sophisticated methods of refining their result sets (like dragging and dropping query parameters) you quickly end up out in the wilderness.
I’m confident that there are a scads of pros out there that have cracked this nut already and my Google-Fu is just not strong enough to find them…
