Hello Everyone,
This is the first time I’ve had to setup searching in SharePoint 2013. I don’t know if it was necessary but I fallowed this guide to setup searching in sharepoint.

All I want to do is to search text that appears in any particular page I might be looking at within SharePoint. Right now all I receive is “Nothing here matches your search”

Your search set up seems ok. Just set the crawling schedule let say every half an hour. you can reset the index and start your full crawling first time. You will see the result in your search as per your requirement.
