Yes, Gokul, the account I was using does have Owner access to the configuration and central admin content databases.
The issue is resolved, but still don’t really know what happened.
Can you please check the account which you are trying to connect has the DB Owner access to the configuration and central admin content databases ?.
here’s what all we have tried so far:
reboot all servers in farm (3 times). Â
Tested pinging SQL from WFE servers and vice versa, that works fine. Â Can remote into the servers.
Tried to connect to the Production SQL server from the SQL Server Manager on the Dev farm. Â That failed with an Access Denied error.
We get the same server error trying to connect to Central Admin. Â
Will advise when we figure out it.
